What is SmartLink and how does it work? smartlink

SmartLinks is a feature of Accompa that helps integrate Accompa with third party software tools and internal applications. SmartLinks are similar to hyperlinks, with one important difference. It's that it's dynamically generated based on the data you're displaying. 

For example, you can create a smartlink  for your Requirement Details page by entering the following value into the "Destination URL" field of "Add smartlink " page: 

After you create this smartlink - whenever you visit the requirement detail page

 of a requirement, "N" in the smartlink example shown above will be dynamically replaced by the ID of the requirement you're viewing. You can use thissmartlink to view a list of all the bugs in your bugtracker related to the requirement you're viewing.

You can dynamically include any data related to your requirements, features, or use cases within your SmartLinks. You can also include data related to the currently logged-in user within your SmartLinks.

Smart Link is a powerful upgrade to your regular, everyday link. There are many different types of smart links, but basically they're just URLs that you can share, track, and customize.

Some smart links have landing pages that can direct visitors to different destinations rather than just one. Additionally, smart links can automatically adjust targeting based on criteria such as the visitor's location and device. This creates an all-around win-win.

Link visitors can get an experience tailored to their preferences and get better results from their marketing efforts. Smart links typically direct visitors to these destinations via a landing page. A landing page is essentially a microsite dedicated to a single purpose, goal, or campaign. For example, a smart link promoting a new album leads to a landing page listing various music services.
